The UNICEF Venture Fund is looking to make up to $100K equity-free investments to finance for-profit, technology start-ups that can benefit society. The Fund has just launched a call for frontier technology startups with solutions to bridge learning or connectivity gaps towards employability. We believe that your company might fit the selection criteria and encourage you to review our application process.
We are seeking a start-up using machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain or extended reality, registered in one of UNICEF’s programme countries, and have a working, open source prototype (or you are willing to make it open-source) showing promising results, the UNICEF Innovation Fund is looking for you.
This link defines the areas we are particularly interested in investing in (digital connectivity, job-matching, remedial learning, and remote work and learning), together with the selection criteria and additional benefits we provide. To directly view the application form, please click here.
UNICEF will also hold an Ask UNICEF Fund webinar (please register here) on September 17th, to answer any questions about the application process.
