Behavioural Science & Climate

Behavioural science is increasingly being applied to encourage green behaviours. This webinar will discuss the importance of applying behavioural science to climate issues. Cambridge University El-Erian Professor of Behavioural Economics and Policy Lucia Reisch will speak about what is currently being done and the potential for applying behavioural science to address climate issues. A focus will be placed on the work of the UN. UNEP will present the Little Book of Green Nudges, an evidence-based guide to reducing university campus environmental impact which leverages techniques such as defaults, framing of choices, and social influence. There will also be a discussion about the application in real university campuses.
