This webinar provides a brief overview of publicly available tools which Data for Good at Meta publishes on the Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX) and a deep dive on the new Relative Wealth Index, a series of AI-powered poverty maps available for nearly 100 low and middle-income countries. Presenters from Data for Good at Meta and the University of California, Berkeley will show how the Relative Wealth Index was built, how the dataset has been used for financial assistance in Togo and Nigeria, and explore how it may be used for expansion of social protection programmes in humanitarian operations.
