We’ve all heard about innovation labs -- but what exactly happens inside one? This FAO InnoVentures event brings together two practitioners to talk about how innovation labs are structured in international development and the new kinds of team dynamics they require. We’ll survey different types of innovation labs in the UN system, get a behind-the-scenes look at how people work together on innovation lab projects, and bust a few popular-but-misguided myths about innovation (“fail fast?”). The session will be hosted by FAO Deputy Director-General, Ms Beth Bechdol, who will welcome our special guests speakers, Ms Stephanie Choo, Director at Tandemic and Mr Kal Joffres, CEO at Tandemic.
