What is open source really all about? Open source is a method, a movement, and a culture. This session includes the (not-so) secret origin stories of open source, the story of UNICEF Innovation’s MagicBox project, and how to either create or join a community around your work. This talk is for the business and engineering sides of your organization. You will learn about Open Source business models and sustainability, and you will see an example of what that looks like in the day-to-day management of real open source projects.
