The 5-Dimensional (5D) Innovation Framework, developed by the UNICEF Office of Innovation, ensures that solutions are rigorously assessed across key areas essential for successful scaling: innovation, business model, impact, scalability and risk. It helps decision-makers formulate strategic choices, increasing the likelihood of successful scaling, and provides an objective basis for discontinuing support for an innovation when necessary.

This report lays out a roadmap in which all stakeholders play a role in advancing a safer, more equitable digital world, one which will lead to a brighter and more prosperous future for all.
