In 2022, the world faced one of the worst humanitarian crises since World War II, with 345 million people on the brink of starvation. The innovators and startups who work with our WFP Innovation Accelerator team, global WFP colleagues, partners and supporters pioneered new solutions to help improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable people across the globe. By reaching over 37 million people through innovations, the accelerator continued to save and change lives worldwide.
Having implemented innovation projects at various levels for humanitarian and development purposes, colleagues from WFP Innovation Accelerator would like to share their innovation stories as well as lessons learned in 2022.
