DPPA is seeking a versatile graphic designer with experience and interest in the civic/social space who can provide ongoing support to design a broad range of information products, both print and digital. The Consultant will work closely with colleagues from the different divisions to design data-driven and compelling products as well as to set up workflows to best sustain these designs.
Working with the Strategic Communications team on DPPA’s Visual identity (paper and web)
Producing guidelines and templates (cf. OCHA Style Book 2018)
Designing external-facing reports, both print and online (e.g. 2018-2019 Multi-Year Appeal, 2017 Annual Report, DPPA year-end publication “Politically Speaking”)
Designing public information materials including, but not limited to: fact sheets, posters, brochures and flyers for donor outreach activities and other public events
Understanding the needs and workflows specific to DPPA officers and political analysis to create new information products that synthesize information obtained from data science / analytics techniques into insights relevant to DPPA.
Supporting divisions across DPPA in conceptualizing needs and creating visual representations and information products for different stakeholders.
