This webinar introduces EMPACT, WFP's initiative aimed at helping young refugees and vulnerable host communities to learn digital skills and find a path to alternative livelihood opportunities offered by the digital economy. Through fit for purpose trainings on digital and soft skills, EMPACT connects food-insecure people to jobs opportunity in the online and offline labour market. Since 2016, EMPACT has trained almost 10.000 people in Lebanon, Iraq, Kenya and Turkey and it’s in the process of scaling operations in new countries. Please find attached an overview of the EMPACT programme.
