This course introduces participants to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and how they apply to the development and deployment of technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI). Through expert insights and real-world examples, learners will explore how businesses are integrating Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) into technology operations to mitigate risks and uphold fundamental rights.

This module aims to build the ability of an Information Management Officer (IMO) to analyse data. It explores the steps involved in data analysis, creating data analysis plans, organizing and summarizing data, and understanding linkages between clusters.

A place to learn open geospatial information in support of the United Nations Through the UN Maps Learning Hub, UN Mappers offers a self-training platform accessible to anyone discovering open geospatial information to support the United Nations development and peacekeeping efforts. This platform includes a series of courses to learn basic and advanced features of OpenStreetMap editing, QGIS analysis and map making and how to leverage the UN Maps application.
