Launched in 2021 by the Business Transformation and Accountability Division (BTAD), the Kamino training program equips United Nations personnel with critical data science skills. The program encompasses a series of courses, beginning with the foundational “Kamino 100” series, and expanding to advanced levels with the forthcoming “Kamino 200” and “Kamino 300” series. Designed to bolster data-driven decision-making across the Organization, the self-paced courses cover areas like data ingestion, machine learning, and visualization. Accessible through the “inspira” platform, the training is complimentary for all UN staff, ensuring a broad spectrum of personnel can benefit, regardless of role or location.
