The objective of this course is to build capacity among policymakers and stakeholders to better understand their science, technology, and innovation (STI) ecosystems and thus design and implement successful STI policies. The 2026 spring-summer session is closed for registration. The registration deadline was 20 February 2026. A new term and intake will be announced in Q4 2026.

This programme explores how behavioural science can drive systemic change for climate action. It covers practical tools for designing interventions that shift behaviours at individual, community, and policy levels. The course is certified by the UN System Staff College and UNFCCC.

A collaborative effort of UNDP’s Sustainable Finance, Climate and Energy teams, Introduction to Sustainable Finance for Climate and Energy is the first free online course to introduce critical concepts in climate and energy finance to a global audience. This course provides learners with concrete tools for financing climate and energy targets, including sovereign debt instruments (green bonds, blue bonds, debt-for-nature swaps), carbon markets, and innovative private finance solutions – underpinned by Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFFs). The course also provides a foundation for measuring impact on climate and energy targets (IMM), and for de-risking sustainable investments in climate and energy.

The Innovation and Digital Transformation course delves into digital transformation in tourism, focusing on customer experience and operational efficiency. Participants will gain insights into digital technologies, innovation, and the steps necessary to drive transformation. A journey through key technologies, innovation, and case studies, this online course provides a comprehensive understanding of digital transformation. Students will engage in videos, readings, and assignments, preparing to implement effective digital strategies and build sustainable tourism ecosystems for long-term success.
