The UNSSC “Innovation for Impact” e-Learning Path seeks to accelerate and foster innovation in the UN system by supporting capacity development to create greater impact and enhance the UN workforce's future resilience. The e-Learning Path is composed of the Introduction to Innovation Learning Module, and the UN Innovation Toolkit Learning Module, with the ambition to support innovation efforts in the UN at all levels by offering online learning that embraces the use of digital tools and innovation frameworks and approaches.

This invaluable resource includes 21 tools, step-by-step directions, worksheets, case studies, and references, as well as a 27-question Diagnostic Assessment which provides actionable insight on every user’s readiness to innovate. The first focus of this course is on the application, practice and development opportunities of AI in the healthcare industry, with a particular focus on the needs and realities of developing countries. It covers core AI technologies and their healthcare applications, practical paths for implementing AI healthcare projects in developing countries, and global trends and regional opportunities. As artificial intelligence (AI) transforms global operations, the UN system and international organizations must equip their personnel with the skills to responsibly understand, apply, and benefit from AI technologies.
