The Global Facilitator Training is an innovative hybrid programme designed to empower facilitators and trainers to operate effectively in international and multicultural contexts. The training begins with a creative Sprint (Day 1) - a collaborative design process where participants co-create the Global Facilitator Profile, defining the skills, values, and mindset that characterize global excellence in facilitation. Building on the outcomes of this creative phase, participants advance into the Facilitator Certification Training (Day 2,3,4) an advanced learning pathway that integrates high-level facilitation skills with a strong emphasis on social justice, development cooperation principles, and emotional intelligence, coaching models, intercultural facilitation and inclusion.

Recent technological advances with emerging technologies like Artificial intelligence, Big data, the Internet of Things, Mobile banking, and many others offer multiple opportunities to optimize the governance of cities and territories in Africa. In a context of rapid urban transformation, digital governance then emerges as a key element to promote Digital Inclusion, Transparency, Accountability, and Public Participation in urban management while building more Safe, Resilient and Inclusive African cities. Through Case Studies, Experience Sharing, Expert Testimonies, and Learning Materials, this MOOC aims to equip participants with tools to transform urban systems through digital-based solutions for more Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable African Cities.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has enormous potential for improving health outcomes and helping countries achieve universal health coverage. However, for AI to have a beneficial impact on people’s health, ethical considerations and human rights must be placed at the centre of its design, development, and use. Adapted from the core contents of the Guidance on Ethics & Governance of Artificial Intelligence for Health, this course introduces entry-level knowledge to policymakers, AI developers and designers, and health care providers who are involved in designing, developing, using and regulating AI systems for health.

The overall aim of this training program is to strengthen country-level digital health governance and health workforce capacity to implement national digital health strategies, architectures, standards, information infrastructures, and health emergency preparedness technologies, and to equip participants with the skills needed to adopt a national planning approach to digital health.
