This course introduces participants to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and how they apply to the development and deployment of technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI). Through expert insights and real-world examples, learners will explore how businesses are integrating Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) into technology operations to mitigate risks and uphold fundamental rights.

In this course, developed in collaboration with UN colleagues, including the UN Innovation Network (UNIN), you’ll dissect the decision-making process and determine what makes decisions so difficult, what makes some decisions more difficult than others, and what you can do about it.
