The UN Global Pulse Accelerator is the United Nations’ programme for turning promising innovative solutions into real-world impact at scale. Selected teams can expect an intensive, hands-on experience designed to turn high-potential ideas into real-world results. Through an expert-led workshop, cross-agency collaboration, and tailored technical support, teams will build concrete, realistic strategies to scale their solutions The Accelerator welcomes UN-led teams with piloted solutions through an annual call for applications, with a thematic focus that evolves each cycle to reflect emerging priorities across the UN system.

It is designed to empower teachers with new ways of teaching using digital technologies, and no previous experience with video games or game design is required. The course is built on the pillars of a Gender Transformative Education, and uses the concept of Playing, Learning, Earning, where students are given the opportunity to move from just playing to learning skills and earning a passport to a future career.
