AI, Data & Storytelling is an upskilling journey designed to empower organizations to work differently. It develops three interconnected capabilities: AI literacy, data-informed decision-making, and impact communication.

C4D offers a practical experience focused on equipping participants with essential tools and strategies for effective communication within the development sector. It covers key aspects such as strategic communication planning, where participants will learn to design and implement communication strategies that align with organizational goals. Additionally, the course emphasizes storytelling and content creation, helping participants develop the skills to craft engaging, human-centered narratives that resonate with their audience. It also explores best practices for using both online and offline communication channels to maximize the reach and impact of messages. Participants will gain exposure to the latest trends and innovative approaches in communication for development, enabling them to apply creative solutions in their work and drive positive change in their respective fields.

In this couse, you will learn basic concepts related to managing and measuring impact on sustainability targets, as well as finance tracking. The focus of this training is on approaches used by UNDP, including taxonomies, reporting systems and frameworks for collecting actionable data to inform decision-making in line with the SDGs.

Learning how to use data for policymaking can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. As part of the Data to Policy Initiative, this series of interactive trainings help policymakers in government learn how to make data-informed policymaking. Using the framework from UNDP’s Data to Policy Navigator, participants will work on their own challenges and gain knowledge that translates into immediate, tangible impact.
